SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The Mesoamerica Meetings Symposium now combines invited talks and papers submitted through our open call for submissions. We invite submissions from anyone who is interested in presenting and will prioritize papers addressing some aspect of the theme of the 2018 Mesoamerica Meetings, but will also consider submissions on other aspects of Maya and Mesoamerican archaeology, culture, and history.
Presentations will be 30 minutes long. A proposal can be submitted in Spanish or English.
Submission deadline is October 18, 2017. Accepted participants will be notified via email before the end of October.
The conference will take place over a two-day period, from Friday morning January 12 through Saturday afternoon January 13. By submitting a proposal, you agree to be available to participate during any of the two days of the conference. Requests for specific days or times for participation are not accepted.
