Special Event: Blanton Museum of Art private tour - Wednesday January 16

For any of you registered to attend The 2019 Mesoamerica Meetings, we have a great opportunity to get a sneak peak at the Blanton Museum storage vault to learn about upcoming exhibits!

Dr. Rosario I. Granados, the Carl and Marilynn Thoma Associate Curator of Spanish Colonial Art will show you some of the plans and artwork for the Painted Cloth: Fashion and Ritual in Colonial Latin Americascheduled to open in fall 2019.

If you are taking a workshop on Tuesday or Thursday, but do not have anything scheduled for Wednesday January 16, this tour is the perfect opportunity to spend some time at the Blanton Museum of Art: the tour is Wednesday January 16  from 3-4 pm.

Attendees need to be registered for the "Blanton tour for The Mesoamerica Meetings" and meet in the atrium of the museum at 2:50 pm.
